    Screen box angle.

Hi everyone. What's the best angle to run a powerscreen box? Mine is currently set up at 32 Degrees. I run a 6' x 4' screen box, with a 20mm woven wire screen mat dropping down to a 4mm piano wire screen. I'm after course sand predominately. The 20mm is a secondary by product. I currently run...

Sand is my bread and butter, but the rocks are the cream. I'll be producing 4 sizes when I finish getting the...

    what do you think

I always try to operate by my personal mantra- "Ethics/morals in business is like your virginity, once it's gone you can never get em back" The reputation that you work so hard for, usually goes down the drain with em. I'd tell his boss. Taking the moral high ground doesn't pay the bills, but it...

Sorry Gravelwasher, should've included a few more details. Yep got a sand quarry pulling out of a freshwater river. We screen dry sand only. Victory Loader

Have been looking at a "Victory" VL 300 4 wheel loader in Australia. Made in China, 130hp Cummins engine. Has anyone heard of what this gear is like? Appreciate any comments. Drastically cheaper than comparable size loaders is the only reason I'm looking.

Advice on purchase of a loader for loading sand in dumptrucks

working in sand I've got a sand quarry in a river, like what I think you have. I run a Cat 315 digger to dig it out, and a cat 930 to load it into my truck, when I'm on good dry sand. The loader you really need is one with diff lock. Dry sand is ok, once it's compacted. But don't try and dig...

    Newby question about using excavator

Your local electricity body should have a record of where and which direction the u/ground cable goes. If a private contractor did the job, call them up. I dig in a river every day, just keep your drives clear of sand. Not too much screwing tracks around if you can help it.

excellent pics. I'm very jealous. Don't get to play with iron that big in underground mining. I'd love to get my hands on some gear that size.

Hey Digger, Like all business decisions it's good to reach out and gain some experience. If it suits your business model, if the price is right, if it's in good condition, if you've got the work for it. Answer these questions, and you've got your answer.
