What Tool or maybe have it done

Piston nuts are usually installed with thread locker. A little heat and they come off relatively easily. No heat, and you're in for a battle!

What Tool or maybe have it done

You need a spanner wrench and a cheater pipe

John Deere 850B no right steering?

I had a similar issue with my case 850E. Didn't break anything, but the pedal would stick and have to be pulled up by foot or hand in order to release the clutch. I traced it down to a bound-up pivot point. Took everything apart, greased well, put back together, and no issues since. Sounds like...

The right dozer for the job-Road Repair in Southern AZ

I'm not sure about working in rocky conditions, but around here I wouldn't want anything but a 6-way blade to work roads. I like that D4H for $12k, but sounds a little too good to be true. Why are both dozers missing their corner bits?

    cat d5k2 ac problem

You need to change filter/dryer and flush all lines, evap core, etc, before even thinking about charging the system again. I'll bet you my paycheck you have a blockage somewhere.

    450j sputters at start up

Well crap. Sounds like you are losing fuel pressure somehow. A check valve just before the primary filter would still be a cheap fix. Was not OEM on my tractor either, but sure fixed my very similar issues.

    450j sputters at start up

Sounds like its getting air in the fuel lines somehow. I bet if you turn the key on and let the electric pump run for 30 or so seconds before you attempt to start, it won't sputter. I have a tractor that was doing this exact same thing. Got progressively worse over time, to the point that if I...

580K - bleeding fuel line after fuel filter change

No, crack your screw #2 from above and pump until you get good clean fuel (with no bubbles) and close. Then crack open your screw #1 and pump until you get good clean fuel (with no bubbles) and close. Then crack open your injectors and turn engine over until you get good clean fuel and close...

580K - bleeding fuel line after fuel filter change

Did you fill the new filters with fuel before putting them on the machine? If not, I see alot of hand pumping in your future.

580K - bleeding fuel line after fuel filter change

Yes, there are a total of 4 of them. Just crack them, do not loosen completely, turn the engine over until the bubbles stop.

Case 580c Front Left Kingpin - Needle Bearing

I agree with Jonas and 1693. Save yourself some time and a log splitter and cut through the pin. Take the entire spindle out with the remainder of the stuck pin to someone with a shop press.

    850E Replacement Seat

I saw those but was not sure about quality. Anyone have experience with these?

    850E Replacement Seat

The seat in my rarely used 850E farm dozer is getting pretty ragged. OEM are very pricey. Any good aftermarket replacements out there? Current seat is non-suspension, wouldn't mind going to a suspension seat if I can get a decent price.

Lots of elbow grease, and if that still doesn't work, cheater pipe.

I ordered reman torque converter and shuttle rebuild kit from them for my 580se backhoe. Everything went very well, and I am happy with the quality.

580se Power Shuttle & TC Advice

Nope, inside parts of shuttle looked new. Oil did look a little dark, but clutch disks did not appear to be worn at all. No visible wear on charge pump. Only thing I can figure is maybe it was the converter, and it was caught before it took the shuttle out?

580se Power Shuttle & TC Advice

Finally getting around to responding to this. Took her for a spin yesterday and worked flawlessly. Stayed in 4th gear the entire time and pulled a hill that it never had been able to previously. Now the input shaft seal on rear end is leaking, but no big deal. Otherwise, she seems to be doing...
