    Hoe demo guard pics

On our one machine at work we got the same thing as in the second picture. We did a home made job on it with the same material. Road grating. I to am not crazy about it, but it has saved me more than a few time with things I have sheared and had pieces go flying . The old riveted steel beams...

    Pittsburgh Police S.O.A.R. program

Digger it was good to see you there, like I said before I just wish we had more time to talk after words but we were being pushed out so they could get more trucks in. The truck I had taken to the program was the rig I use to own. It is a 2003 Mack Vision now owned by the company I work for...

I will go along with what everyone on here has said so far. You know your good when you boss introduces you to some high profile customers and tells them this is my ace operator in the yard and on the road and driver. Also you know your good when you get all the weird jobs or the jobs no one...

    good game good game

That should be a interesting job. What type of grinder are you using? I’m thinking a tub grinder. Are all the spikes and tie plates off all the ties? Or do you have to check for them as you load?

Binders on the passenger side only?

I’m a little late here but I was pulled in to a DOT check about 3 months ago and I was hauling a load of scrap burn out plate. I had 4 bundles on the flat bed, and had 2 chains and 2 binders on each, and they were on the driver side. The DOT cop never questioned me about them on the driver said...

    Slightly bent Hino

I have always been told and have red and understood you can wield on the face of the frame not the flange of the frame. I have done so several times my self and have had no problems with the frame or DOT inspections. Just my 2 cents.

    Will You Be Here Tomorrow?

Here is a very good safety video. It is one of the best I have seen in a long time. Will You Be Here Tomorrow? It shows some pretty interesting things that happen and how. Yes it is somewhat graphic. Sorry if I offend anyone or broke any posting rules...

Pickups: Is your Chrysler dealer closing?

I got one Dodge dealer that is staying open that is only like 10 minutes from me but they are not all that great with dealing with the heavy duty Dodge trucks. They are lost when they have to work on a ¾ ton or 1 ton truck, gas or diesel. That is a real disappointment to me. There really are not...

Need large convex mirror, any sources?

Try the local CAT shop or Link Belt/ Liebherr dealer. I know the Liebherr and Link belt both have some nice spot mirrors. I believe they are something like 6 X 12. Hope this helps.

Very nice. Did you have the river blocked off up stream? Cause it looks pretty dry and shallow in some spots. Got any pictures of the whole job completed? The loader looks pretty new.:beatsme
