    Komatsu wa250-1 oil in coolant

Ok, I have a wee problem and need some help please. I acquired a Komatsu WA250-1 approx. 6months ago and it has suddenly developed a problem with engine oil in the coolant. It dropped the oil off the dipstick very quickly and blew it out the radiator overflow. I am trying to track down where...

    862 Deere engine rebuild

Ok guys, We have the head off and pulled pistons and liners today. I have a hole in a liner as I suspected. This old girl definitely didn't have coolant run in it for a while. Anyway problem found, the head has been changed out at some stage and is in great condition. Crank is great, so off to a...

    862 Deere engine rebuild

Thanks again Showpony, I reckon we might lift the head to have a looksy, I had thought of the intercooler and have a spare here if it doesn't stand up to a pressure test. Forum has been great for keeping me on track :) Cheers,Peter......

    862 Deere engine rebuild

Thanks Showpony, I will definately check that water pump out, another guy suggested oil cooler and intercooller also. I am a little confused about the hydraulic lockup on starting only occassionally. It could be as simple as a head gasket. Here's hoping. I don't know of the coolant history...

    862 Deere engine rebuild

Thanks C130, to the best of my knowledge it is the 6619T engine in the 862 scrapers. 6cylinder, 619 cubic inch, Turbo intercooled. It is just that there are 3+ rebuild kits available and knowone seems to be able to tell me the difference. They are all different depending on the engine no. ??

    862 Deere engine rebuild

Thanks cutting edge, I did try that but my dealer reckons it is too old and hasn't got that information available. I will try another JD construction dealer in a different State and see if I get the same response. Thanks.

    862 Deere engine rebuild

About my second post here in as many years guys, so bear with me. Have an 862 John Deere which is intermittently losing water into the sump. Once again intermittently blowing steam out the crankcase breather and the occasional hydraulic lockup on starting. Have resolved myself to an engine...

Don't Hate me Because I purchased a New Holland Backhoe :)

Ouch. I think this might be why the LB110's are so cheap, people are shifting them on before they give trouble. I am glad to be back with the powershuttle and hope it is as bulletproof as the earlier fords. Have a Ford 655D and apart from the lack of level lift and the ride quality it is a beast.

    Ford 4500

Just an idea. I have seen people ratchet tie another v belt to the radiator for quick replacement. May or may not be a good idea, and yes I do believe you will have to remove pump mounting bolts. :) Have fun

Don't Hate me Because I purchased a New Holland Backhoe :)

Hi Goel, I have only had a couple of posts on here but I have my NH LB110 up for sale here in OZ. It has a horrid clunk going F to R and a hesitation. Spoke to the nearest dealer and they said it was usable but if I wanted it fixed it would be $6k to pull the transmission and labour to fix plus...

    LB110 transmission

Hi, Newbie to the forum but hoping you are all helpful in here:) I have a 2003 model NH LB110 with 5500hrs. Bought it secondhand 18mths ago. When first started the transmission seems ok, but when up to operating temp. it hesitates and clunks harshly from F to R and also somewhat between gears...

    Ford 550 TORQUE CONVERTER TRANSMISSION

There is a roll pin just inside the housing which if sheered off could be giving you these symptoms. Unfortunately it will mean removing the transmission to rectify. The lock out valve doesn't like being shifted with the engine off, I think I have read somewhere in the manual not to shift from...
