I’m having a problem with my JCB 212s machine locking up and not moving, sometimes it will move right away and other times it takes a couple of minutes to start going. Warning light for transmission pressure is on. I heard that it’s possibility an issue with the pressure sensor that won’t allow the machine to move. Does anyone have an experience with you? Any insight would be very helpful! Thanks.

I haven't had this problem with mine. Besides a filter, there is a screen that needs cleaning on the transmission. If you haven't already PM me and I will send you the service manual that covers serial number 930000 onwards (around year 2002 up).

My last 7 numbers are 0494065
The part number I got for the service manual is 9803/7110. I found this but it seems to be just a basic service manual. I’m looking for a more technical service manuals where I can get specs on proper pressures , ohms, and detailed instructions
Is there such a “workshop service manual “ ?

Your machine was manufactured in July 2000. So that manual does not apply, however if you look at the transmission section it may give you some insight to trouble shooting and how it works, as there is a fairly detailed section that goes over operation and testing procedure. However it may not apply to your machine.

I don't have any first hand knowledge that would cause the problem you are describing, so this is more me guessing:

- When the machine is cold - if you raise up the machine so the wheels are off the ground, with the engine off, brake off, you can't turn any of the wheels? With engine on?
- There are two solenoids and one pressure switch shown in the parts (see below). Part 42 (25/104700) Fw/Rv solenoid, 70 (701/41600) pressure switch, 85 (332/M5111) Solenoid. I'm not sure what part 85 does. Double check those part numbers with a dealer before ordering anything.

To me it sounds like a lazy solenoid but I can't explain why it wont move.
