There are still manufacturers of parts for these tractors, trouble is they are mostly in Europe.
We are lucky enough to have suppliers here in Aust. that import weekly from Italy.
We recently rebuilt the motor and transmission on our 14C without too much drama.
Also replaced rollers, which came from ITM.

thanks for the repllys so far but does any one know if a rail from cat or other name brand would fit the width of the front idler and the rollers and then I could cut of the back sprocket and reweld the right segments back on to fit new rails would be a lot easery to find a used set then machine is used on farm with not that many hours per year

I used to see a lot of 14C's back in the 80's and 90's. I swear someone told me the track chains were the same as a Cat D6...….but don't hold me to that...….my memory isn't what it used to be.o_O

FA or FL14 is 7.48 or 760mm pitch, nobody else used except Komatsu on D55/65, FD or FL10 was 702mm same as 750/755 Deere and D5/951. I looked at one some time back, passed as it was in similar condition.

Hey, DMiller... this is probably a really long shot, but are you able to compare the 14C chain specs with those of the Cat 315, 320, 322 excavator group?

Got a few spec numbers
the listed exc units have 7.48 chain, some of the E series(E2xx) had these as the E series (E EL3xx) went to 8.0 pitch

215 series 6.75(171.4mm) 96mm link ht. 53.8 bushing 5/8 bolt; 315/20/22 had 7.48(760) 106 ht. 58.7 bush some 18mm some 20mm bolting; the later 215 B 225 had 6.906 rail and later 325 or E series 3xx went to 8.0.

The FL14C was 116 ht. 65mm bush 20mm bolt

Would have to wonder if they would also be spec to take the beating a track loader will inflict with constant rolling?

EquipmentWatch has a specpro tool that will tell you the specs for almost any equipment, so that would help you find other equipment that would have similar size parts and maybe you could just buy a part. The problem is it's $200 a year for full access to their database. I don't know though, maybe you could get just the 14c specs for cheaper. You could ask them: https://equipmentwatch.com/resource-library/product-guides/specifications/

The other shoe would be track shoes, single grouser do not exist for excavators. The rails and shoes in KC look the ticket.

Sorry but single shoes do exist for excavators as we have been putting lots of them on for the pipeline companys. In fact about 3/4 the excavators we sell or rent right now go out with single bar shoes.
