We sure cooled off in N. Illinois but the skeeters are still here, and hungry, too. If the breeze keeps blowing it's ok, but when it stops or gets close to sunset they are more like a swarm.

I am ready for cold!!!

Me to. The 10 o,clock news is talking snow showers for north of Bemidji, MN tonight. That's only 100 miles north west as the crow flies. Getting closer. Nothing but 45 degree rain day after day here. Mosquitos must have drowned this year, we never had hardly any.

But cool find those kind of things are dangerous they get a guy scheming on how "easy" it would be to get them running and how co they are after they run

They both run and operate fairly good. Pony motors need work so you have to pull start them. Really not in bad shape.

For sure! I’m starting my excavating company Monday! Haha. As far as machines that age they aren’t bad. Compared to other stuff....well that’s a different story :)

Hey, These machines can be worked on without the dealers computer. No air conditioned cab, must have only been run a wee bit in the spring and fall. I miss my 9U. never should have sold it.

Just be careful with those rawhide chews! If a dog is too good of a chewer they can tear off too big a piece at a time and then it can cause intestinal problems. Each dog is different so just keep an eye on them.

My dog does that. He gets them softened up and then just swallows them. But he's big enough that it doesn't hurt him.

Scariest moment I had with him was chewing away. Suddenly he was running around gagging like he was choking. I jumped up and tried giving him a dog version of the Heimlich. Pretty quick it was obvious that wasn't working. Turns out he got part of the chew stuck between his teeth in the roof of his mouth and could not get it out. I reached it and popped it out for him and he was right as rain. Luckily he's a hunting dog so he has a super soft mouth. No fear sticking my hand in.
