Anybody need a set of early 252 sprockets? I believe I have a set of 3 segment 15 bolt sprockets for an early left hand 252. May even have a set of cutting edge rippers. New old stock I discovered in my parts stash. I'll double check for part numbers If there's any interest. I do know these parts are leftovers from my dad and that's what he was running in the 70s. And, well hopefully the moderators understand the Wabco thing.

Wabco 353 drone clip

Worth watching in hd 1080 if you have a good netspeed.

Stole my son-in-law's drone when we visited Auckland before Christmas, this was filmed and put together by my other son-in-law after we started a new dam here when we got back. It's just a music track with it until we learn how to sync a phone sound track with the drone, obviously the drone camera does not record sound as all you'd hear would be an angry hornet (the drone..). Working here with a mate's D7 equivalent Liebherr. We have some GoPro timelapse I'll post when we are finished. It's about a 25 Ml storage, 10,000 ccm in the wall.

Hey Steve
The video is great! It is really good to have some aerial views of all that is going on.
A little while ago you were saying you may be interested in a 222H. There is one up for sale in Victoria (http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=i&r...LEfTt61m81DMJdIqIXlsQVgg&ust=1451785886044651), a bit pricey at $82,000 plus GST, but may be worth a look.
Have a great 2016 and look forward to seeing more of the Wabco's.
Cheers
Gordon

That would be the 229 model. Never worked around them. But have seen a few 339 models. If the 339 had been available as a twin engine... wow.
Wabco also built the 259, that was pretty much the 252FT with a conventional bowl with twin 8V71s. I've heard those were good machines.

Hi Tones
What RZucker says is correct, open bowl is a 229. If you have a look back further in this thread you will see my pictures of my 229F - my avatar also shows it. They are a great machine, much easier loading than a Cat 621.

That right there is my favorite Wabco to operate, I've been on many of them from 111s to 353s, but I do like a good 333FT the most of all of them. (Well a 252 is good too). The 333FT had a good elevator speed that made for fast clean loading. For some reason Wabco slowed the elevators on the 353s and all they did was push dirt against the rear of the tractor. I think 333FTs ran 284 feet per minute on the chain and 353s ran 254 FPM? They just didn't suck it in fast enough to make me happy. JMO.

Yes we would be keen if you still have them.
Let us know.
