On a 220LC-6, the front 10amp fuse blows & an error code of E-02 has come up. The T /H won't swing or get above an idle. It done this last year & we found naked wire on the fuel solenoid, repaired that & by-passed the monitor with the toggle switch. ( Was done by Komatsu Dealer Mechanic) Boy that got expensive !
Got a suggestion where to start looking on a E-02 error ?

Should've also said, we have unplugged the fuel solenoid & replaced the fuse. Turned the switch on (not to start) & it blowed the fuse again

Do you have the Cummins or the original Komatsu engine? Multiple valve covers is the Cummins, single valve cover is the Komatsu.

Have narrowed it down to the 2-stage relief solenoid valve. Unplug the valve & wont blow fuse & all functions working.

You can check the coil with an ohm meter. Should have about 3 or more ohms resistance. You can remove the coil from the valve and source it outside of the Komatsu parts system if you want. Komatsu dealer people will likely tell you to buy the whole valve. I used to get them through Spenser Fluid Systems. There are a bunch of diodes in that machine as well. If you have problems after replacing the coil let us know. I can probably find which diode is blown and where it is located.
