I think it's funny that people on this forum can talk about all kinds of heavy equipment in a civilized manner, but when they start talking about pickup trucks everyone gets all pissy.
Lol. Yup.

We'll spoken Allgood, nice to see people who promote positive & friendly attitudes toward others..Ah, I really didn't take it that way. As I mentioned in one quote; I just assumed the one fella's comments were nothing more than good intentioned comments. He doesn't know me, know where I drive etc., so although I didn't really get much out of what he said, I took no offense at all. My name isn't really "Allgood", it's just a phrase I always end up saying. I try to see the positive in any situation and apparently (too frequently) say "No worries, it's all good".
I have pull a 6 ton excavator with a 2008 dodge 3500 single rear wheel cummins it pulled very well but as everyone else has said stopping is the problem.blowerman and murphy777 how are the new ford diesels holding up
Of course it eats up front passenger side tires like all fords do.....
My '92 F450 didn't do that, and '08 F350 DRW 6.4 doesn't do it. What's up with that?
Interesting..... I recently noticed my chevy is doing the same thing, front passenger tire. But its wearing the inside of the tire.....I don't know why it does that.... my 06 f 250 did the same with the front passenger tire, and now my 2012 f350 is doing it also, I think the design of the straight front axel may have something to do with it, and it comes out of alignment. Around 25-30k miles, I can see the wear belts on the outside of the tire.
1200 for tires and alignment you got a heck of a deal. Your lucky to get a decent set of rubber and mounted and balanced for that price let alone a $350 allignment.

that is exactly what my tire guy said....I need to pay a lot more attention to tire condition, and I could probably get alot more mileage out of my tiresPretty much all the Fords (all 4x4) I have owned will "cup" the outer edge of both of the front tires. I just keep them rotated to wear evenly.
too much?
