Manufacturing will continue on unit number 2, but there are quiet grumblings that Bulldog may not actually take delivery of their unit. Time will tell. But testing of unit number 1 is continuing along very well. She is currently having crawler work completed out on the 31000 test pad.I have also read that only two companies have currently purchased the crane, which are bulldog erectors out of south carolina and crane rental group out of florida.
Close! When I had the opportunity to sit in the fun seat, there were at least 7 others in the cab. The operators seat and controls "recline" to a perfect 20 degrees...then there was a small fridge, microwave, roomy closet... It could make a decent studio!:notworthycranedude07.....:notworthy wow ...that's a living room...
Needless to say, a lot! Have a peek below. That block assembly weighs a tad over 86,000 pounds. All together the hook and block assembly weigh in at almost 118,500 pounds.WOW! And how many parts to that line. muzy
You are correct. It's a very impressive piece.I count 36 parts, with provisions on the block for 8 more parts of line.
Pretty impressive. That is going to take more than a few minutes just to rig the block.
