On Edit. :jawdrop I just went back and had another look. I thought that machine was behind the wheeled bolster trailer, its not, is it. Its part of it.

TimberJack made a large forwarder back in the 80's that would cut down trees and put them on the back and transport them roadside. the pic's i posted is a machine that was modified and had a grapple used by a pulp company in nackawick,n.b. just over the border from maine.they modified the machine even further by putinng on kamatsu excavator with long reach stick and grapple.

special tool : it takes me about 100-200 cords of wood to pick over to make up a 22 minute load of wood.....most loads take 1-1/12 hr

Are you sure thats really a mill and not some painted backdrop for a Liebherr shoot. :D

Any pics of Komatsu underwater dozer or other brands if they exist?

The only underwater dozer I am aware of is a lime green Komatsu that I saw in a book on construction equipment. The dozer was meant to be totally submerged.

So is it remotely controlled, from the surface.

I wonder what the story behind that is and how effective it was.
