    773 check Paul , one of the first things I would do is cut open your oil filter, stretch out the paper pleats and look for any metal. Do the same with the hydraulic filter, also check and replace your case drain filters, you should buy a service manual it will make things much easier to locate...

    fitting sealer : teflon tape or pipe dope

    I just want to get opinions on what is the BEST type of sealer for hydraulic fittings. I used rectorseal 5 on my flat faced couplers for my auger and tightened them up until I thought they would split the coupling, and I still have a drip. What do you use ? I seek knowledge, thanks
