Service body to fit 5th wheel

Hi Guys... I can't seem to figure this one out. I am looking at a single axle tractor to pull a fixed neck lowboy. On the days I don't need the lowboy I was hoping to pull a tag trailer. Is there any manufacturers out there that make a body that would mount to the 5th wheel.. I am sure I...

    tree sheer vs. mulcher head

We get paid $200 for filling a trailer with chips. I also have a mulch company that will bring their horizontal grinder out, grind our brush and PAY us $12 a ton. We have biomass plants that will purchase chip/mulch too. I don't think the first product out of the grinder is suitable for...

clearing land would a forestry chipper be cost effective?

Hokie, Is the 8" trees softwood? and the rest scrub? I've been looking at those picture and think that the $900 may be a bit high. Especially with a job of 35 acres and not much work out there. How far north in VA are you? I'm heading out to PA to price a big job and I'll be working in...

clearing land would a forestry chipper be cost effective?

Is your estimate from some one who came out and took a look or from a conversation? Most of my jobs average in the 7-800 per acre range but if you have many trees in the 8 inch range it could be higher. The bobcat will have trouble in 8 inch material, it'll do it but it won't be fast. Our...

Adjusting Hyd pressure to the Aux

Can anyone tell me how I can adjust the hydraulic pressure to the auxiliary on a Mustang 6003? The previous owner had a thumb and I was told sometimes people turn down the pressure down to avoid damage to the thumb or bucket... Thanks.

    New Attachment For The ASV

Yes they do make a 3 point unit, not sure on the HP needed. I do know the tractor mounted heads are bigger then my 100hp skid steer could handle. Here is a link to the FAE site with some of the tractor pictures. I would like to try one of the bi-directional tractors... FAE

    New Attachment For The ASV

Nice rig. I ran a Magnum for a week, impressive recovery time. I went with the Fecon but I would probably go with an FAE after the rep came out and let me use one for a week. The tracks will take a beating but for me it is mostly from rocks and not the woody debris left behind.
