Wanted to let you guys know what I found when I researched the wiring diagram. The temp sensor was bad, however it was burned out[cut it apart with parting tool on lathe]. Come to find out the converter [24 to 12] was bad. I hope this didn’t wreck anything else cause there was 24v on one pin...

Just want schematics. Nothing fancy The rest is intuitive for ole farmers. If we had to depend on factory service. We’d go broke

Ok. Grounded it. Gauge pegged all the way up. I don’t like to just ground wires without some input from those of you that can give me direction. Ordered service manual. Deere has all the values assigned in their manuals. Hope Cat does the same. Never did throw parts at things when knowledge...

Concerned about doing that, not knowing the configuration of the gauge cluster C Board Know that works, but thought I would ask before I cause more issues. Not knowing if I have a neg. or positive coefficient is troublesome. Seems to read positive C

Tom I marvel at the quality of your work and the ability to see down the road and improve the product. We were looking thru the thread today and marveled at your truck. Asked my buddy what you think he paid for it. He said " A man with talent like that built it himself" One question. CO2 shield...

    Abrasion Resistent Poly Carbonate Plastic

Got all new window "Glass" and one lasted 30 minutes and a tree limb it swung by and cracked it. Looking into some of the new plastics online used for window glazing that are 20 times stronger than glass and are abrasive resistant. I can cut it myself and install it. Seems to be a better option...

deere 450B dozer engine power loss

We had trouble with NAPA fuel filters...Seems the micron range was about 1. They would plug up without a pre-filter in about an hour and do the same thing. Back flush the supply line to the tank with compressed air as a quick check

May go with the 4 in 1..The handle 3A3505 is missing on my machine Everything else is there except the hoses Where is a good grave yard that such things can be found, other than making one. Think the 977 used the same one

    955L Transmission Trouble

Leaks cause high temps Running it will make it worse and wreck whatever you repaired. Go thru the diagnostic procedure in the manual. It will zero in on the problem very quickly as save time and money The quickest way to bring hydraulic oil to operating temp is bleeding hi pressure discharge...

Could not find the original blade group.. ...Trying to keep this as simple as possible. Removing the bucket and installing a blade made for the machine is the best way.. Maybe I will keep looking for the blade Listed as an option, but maybe Cat only made a few so they will be scarce a hens teeth
