Kobelco SK 120 MARK 5.. controls stopped working..

I got it figured thanks. There was a push connection immediately under the cab where it penetrates the floor that had come undone. It was really hard to notice at first as its in a weird spot but It got me running. On to the next issue lol. My tracking pedals are physically locked out by the...

Kobelco SK 120 MARK 5.. controls stopped working..

Did you ever figure this out? My SK120 just did the same thing. I can still track so I think the safety switch is good but maybe it's running to a solenoid somewhere. The manual doesn't describe how the lock out works and I'm new to working on excavators.

D4C III Fresh rebuild- No blade hydraulics.

Problem solved. And it’s a dumb one. Well I had a chance to get out at the property today. I couldn’t take the back plate off the pump as the 4 bolts hold the entire pump together but I was able to take off the fittings and verify the pump wasn’t turning. Then I took the pump off and...

D4C III Fresh rebuild- No blade hydraulics.

Thanks for posting these Nige. I don't know what's up with this machine but the fuses aren't in any locations mentioned in the manual. Neither the right side of the machine nor under the dash. The only place I haven't ripped apart is the left hand side of the operating station and under the...

D4C III Fresh rebuild- No blade hydraulics.

I only have wrenches here up to 1 1/4” but I pulled off the the smaller hose on the pump and started it up and it had no pressurized fluid coming out. So maybe I’m not getting supply for some reason but I don’t have a wrench big enough to take the supply line off. It looks like 1 3/4”

D4C III Fresh rebuild- No blade hydraulics.

Sorry I meant to post it. 7SL00403 There are no fuses under the panel. I just had it off. I also had the right hand shroud off and nothing down there either

D4C III Fresh rebuild- No blade hydraulics.

Hello everyone, I just rebuilt the engine and popped it back into my D4C. She fired right up and everything seemed good to go but I had no blade functions. It is not the control lock out as it lets me go into gear and move back and forward. I can back drag the blade over a pile in float mode and...

    Quick help please D4/Cat dozer

Hello, I just bolted the engine on my series III Cat D4C and I don't have the manual. Does the bell housing/clutch housing where the flywheel slips over the clutch gear need any sort of oil? When I took the engine off there was a tiny bit of residual in there but nothing major. There is a red...

Kobelco SK120 bogging down when tracking

Thanks for this document. I think I have more than the tracking issues rearing it’s head as everything is starting to feel like low power and bog down with multiple controls. sSo I’m going to go through all the fuel filters and screens to start just to dir sure eliminate that, check the pilot...

Not the best photo as I had to last minute fly across the country but you can see the metal is rubbing.

Kobelco SK120 bogging down when tracking

Hello, I have a new to me 1995 Kobelco SK120. I bought it off a farmer who had it at his property for 10 years doing easy work. He had bought it off an estate of a guy who has passed suddenly who was using it for forestry work with a Keto 150 processing head on it. Now that it’s at my place...

    Cat 613 bogging down

The machine blows so much black smoke you can’t see what you’re picking up so the fuel needed to be turned down. I took off the access plate in the back and saw that they bypassed the first fuel filter when they installed a new fuel pump. The secondary one was working and I think the gunk I saw...
