    Deere 450 or 650?? First Dozer

    They still do, but it's not really a tag. All you have to tell the trooper is that you are hauling to your farm. No stopping at weigh stations etc, and you must be within 350 miles of you farm or address on DL.

    Was that the dozer that was on CraigsList a few weeks ago in Crestview? If so it's going to need a ton of $$ to fix up. The one I looked at need a new water pump, u/c and clutches.

    Poly tanks for fuel?

    Keep the tanks out of sunlight. We've used the 250g tanks for septic systems at our hunting camp for 6 yrs so far without a problem. The extra one we had left out in the elements cracked and was useless in 1 1/2 yrs.

    We are looking at a 1975 AC 653. After searching the web for hours, this site for days we've up with very little. What I found so far is that it weighs about 12k#, is comparable to AC 655 & 652 and older HD4's, has a 200ci engine with about 50hp (2200 series) but no info on the maker...

    The dam was but 30 years ago. About 10 years of neglect and a cloged spill way cause the dam to give way. About 5 years ago it was rebuilt, but the drain pipe was only 6"PVC and no spill way. The pond is fed by a spring and filled up along with heavy rains and no spill way it gave way again...
