    I have 28 volts at the connector and when I plug it into the solenoid and check voltage again it drops to 22 volts. Not sure why this is happening. I’m sure the switch will not open unless there is min 24 volts correct?

    I also have a early model tb175. Just to be sure the right solenoid is the one on the far right closer towards the counterweight side right? So I can jump it with 24 volts and leave it jumped while I tighten the track?

    Was your problem originally that you couldn’t go into 2nd speed? My 2nd speed button turns on but doesn’t go faster. One of my tracks is dead loose and I can’t tighten it without the second gear speed.

    When you say measure the resistance do you mean at the solenoid connector or the machine side connector?

    I didn’t think to check for resistance. I just checked voltage. I know on my machine the solenoid on the far left is for slew speed and the far right is for travel speed. Not sure the center one. neither of those functions work but both of them illuminate on the cluster when I hit the button...

    takeuchi tb 175 hare turtle does not switch

    My machine will not go into second gear, the rabbit mode. It turns on when I hit the switch but it physically doesn’t change into rabbit mode to go faster. My track is super loose and Rabbit mode is required to be able to tighten tracks on self adjusting tracks.
