    compact loader vs skid steer

Sez you. Lol. Maybe in five years or so.

New owner of a Yanmar SV40

The etymology is curious, isn't it. I used to own a small "cat" dozer, and cats are often referred to as pussy cats, so small pussy cat. Small = little. Pussy cat = puss. Contracted to Lil' Puss. No testosterone was harmed in the process.

    compact loader vs skid steer

CNH did NOT buy GiANT. They signed a partnership with GiANT. GiANT will still exist as normal. Case and New Holland will be selling a limited variety of machines. Think of it like how John Deere sells loaders that are made by Liebherr.

    compact loader vs skid steer

The Giant CWL's are made in the Netherlands. High end machines, priced comparable to Cats. Kubota engines. Quite a wide product line up. There are two models larger than mine. Like I stated, this is replacing, and a step up from, my Mustang 2040. I forgot to mention that it also has the...

New owner of a Yanmar SV40

Took delivery of a '21 SV40 today. It's replacing a 1988 Mitsubishi MS035. Talk about night and day. Heat, stereo, six-way blade, and A/C. I could live in it. There is going to be a steep learning curve.

    compact loader vs skid steer

Well I bit the bullet and got a Giant G2700HD+ 50 HP CWL. It is articulated and oscillating. Handles a ton of heating pellets up a steep drive without breaking a sweat (and it has heat and stereo). Kicked the skid steer to the curb and not looking back. Disclaimer: This was the first time I used...

    Giant wheel loaders?

Has anyone had any experience with these little wheel loaders? Made in the Netherlands by Tobroco Machinery LLC.

    compact loader vs skid steer

I know this thread has whiskers, but considering a Giant G2700 to augment or replace a Mustang 2040. So wondering how the Giant would be for carrying a ton of heating pellets up a steep gravel driveway. The last articulated wheel loader I ran was a Cat 944 in 1966.

Converting over 3 point implements to run off a skid steer??

Did you get it second hand? There are three models that are matched to your skid steer's system flow rate, plus a hi-flow model. If you get the wrong one you'll either get poor performance or toast the hydraulic motor. What do you have?

Converting over 3 point implements to run off a skid steer??

That depends on the HP and flow of your skid steer.

I just got this Eterra model. Going to use it with a brush cutter. https://www.skidsteersolutions.com/motorized-skid-steer-3-point-adapter-eterra/

To Trade for a Dozer or not to trade!?

I know it's old, but this thread just popped up in a search I was doing. This thread should really be named "Yuchai Dozer Bashing", and there is an awful lot of ignorance on display as well. I have a 2006 model that I spec'd and imported myself through a broker. It currently has over 600 hours...

    Hitch Doc Dual Dozer

Here are the results of my inquiry: I have a legacy Hitch Doc Dual Dozer (two DA hydraulic cylinders) that uses two Trimble GSM-2 laser receivers which run into a junction block, and is remotely controlled with a compact controller. I believe it is a 14 pin Cannon circular connector on the...
