    What temperatures are the hydraulic system run on these d4d cats?I've been raking up brush piles noticed the tractor running warmer than it does just pushing dirt. I guess the extra weight of the rake making it run hotter. I'm going to put a gauge on it just want to know what temps it should be...

    Does the 3304 engine in a d4d have a wet flywheel housing? I drained some oil out of the flywheel housing and didn't know if it was supposed to be in there or not thanks. Powershift transmission

    definitely blow by.i took of the oil fill cap off and pushing air/steam out pretty good

    The water in the radiator moves up and down when it is running , no bubbles though

    It was two gallons low on water when the gray slime first appeared. The exhaust fumes is clear as can be with no smoke whatsoever even on cold start up

    I do not have a pressure tester. I know it didn't hold any pressure when it was operating temp. The slime was a gray color first. Then I flushed the system with water and changed the water pump and oil then the slime turned to a clearer white color

    It does have oil cooler but it now has a lot of blow by I noticed today also and getting worse the more I run it.

    Yes it was left open for about a week when the hydraulic pump was changed I tried to have it remanufactured but ended up getting one from cat. It didn't get rain in or anything I tried to cover it the best I could to kept dust out

    I really appreciate the replys . I wouldn't would have thought about the liners leaking .
