    I think binding the tracks on a excavator tends to bend and damage them. I see guys do it all the time but the more i think about it the more i think its the wrong way!

    if you look clearly at picture above there are no steel track gouchers that the pads are bolted to its all one unit (chain style track pad.

    In the market and need to make a decision in a zero turn excavator that is around 34,000lb. My question is do i get the 8'2" stick of the 9'10" stick what are the pros and cons and your personaly advice as an operator? Keep in mind it will be equiped with a hydrolic thumb (500lb).
