    IH 2400 backhoe/loader

I just don't have much use for the backhoe nowadays and need a 3pt pto, FEL machine about this size.

    IH 2400 backhoe/loader

I'm incline to remove the backhoe and try to make this one a three point, pto machine. Can anyone tell me if the AG 454 parts would swap? If so, what all will I need?

Mahindra 4530 vs 'Old Iron' MF Workbull

I had two guys fighting over the old 203 so I let her go. Kinda wishing I would have kept it now but, I was in no physical condition to split it after major colon surgery. The JD 5105 has spent a lot of its life sitting. I am a little concerned about internal parts rusting due to condensate...

Old Chevy C60 with Air brakes... mystery lever

I just picked up a 69 C60 dump truck to move some dirt around the ranch. There's a lever on the left side of the dash labled "Truck Tractor Protection". It has two positions, left labeled "normal" and right "emergency". It leaks air in the normal position but seems to work fine in the...

    IH 2400 backhoe/loader

Let me check locally. There's a very good hydraulic shop near my ranch that has always come thru for me. I believe my same cylinder is seeping and had planned to take it over there when I have the time. I wonder where the water enters these machines??? I've found water twice now.

6 Lug Budds to replace 20" split rings

Thanks, I may look into the 10 hole swap. Tire shop here said the same about those wheels being very common. Tough time finding any med duty truck salvage yards around here. It seems they all get scrapped now the price of metal is up.

6 Lug Budds to replace 20" split rings

Local tire shop tells me he wasn't familiar with anything that would replace the split ring 20" wheels on out old ranch 2 ton '80 F600. 20" tube type tires are geeting hard to find and no one around here will mount them. I heard of folks replacing them with 22.5 tubeless but I cannot find a...

Mahindra 4530 vs 'Old Iron' MF Workbull

Taking suggestions for what to be on the look for. I need something under 9K lbs with a loader and 3pt, PTO. A Ford 345, 445, 455, MF30E or an equivalant Case/IH im guessing is about the size I am looking for. Any suggestions? Models to avoid?

    Backhoe tires?

Ended up finding a nearly new (still has teets) 13.6-28 for $150. Slightly smaller than the 14.9 but close enough.

    massey ferguson power steering

+1 for frozen or dry kingpins. My old MF did the same thing once. You should be able to disconnect one of the cylinder ends and see if they are assisting. Easy way to tell if the PS is working.

    Backhoe Arcing at Motor

Static build up on the belt??? Try soaking it or misting it with water and see if it still does it. I'm suspect the air is real dry and it's just static. This is how a Van de Graaff generator works. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_de_Graaff_generator
