    heat the hyd fluid faster by turning and just holding it into the relief for a few minutes. then you will know if its fluid temp related.

    Hyster H40FT hard start

    Got a Hyster H40FT L177V06346J. Some times it has a very hard time starting. It cranks till the computer stops you if you crank it that long. Other times it fires right up. Typically you have to crank it at least 10 seconds to start.

    The backlight of the display comes on, there is just no readout. Could the left panel make all the lights in the right panel stay on? From what I understand, there is the left panel, the right panel , and the controller. Could my problem be in the controller? Also where can I find the controller?

    I have an S250. Turn the key on, only the parking brake light goes on. Wait 10 seconds then the fuel gauge comes on and the temp gauge starts moving. Now you can start the engine, and operate the machine. If the fuel gauge doesent move there is no engine crank. If you wait ten minutes or so...

    is there a switch related to the brakes that affects the trans function. like in trucks you must press the brake to get the trans in gear or it wont move. have you checked all the fuses?
