Torkelh: Do you have a clearer copy of the Model 88 brochure. I'm planning on doing one of these in 1/25 scale for my collection and would love to get a copy of that for the rough dimensions. Bill

Here is my Madill 071 in 1/25 scale. I used a remote control Sherman tank for the chassis. Everything else is scratch from Evergreen styrene. The tower is pvc water pipe. Shown with the tower up and down. Also as a load on my scratch built 60 ton Cozad lowbed. Cheers: Bill

It was 1/16th scale unfortunately. The only M4A3E8 Sherman in 1/25th scale with "easy eight" suspension is a Franklin Mint metal one. Its really nice but pricey. Cheers: Bill

The Tower is about 3 feet long and its about 9" to the top of the cab. I got the resin Detroit Diesel from American Industrial Truck Models. Cheers: Bill

Scratch built Skagit BU-99 yarder in 1/25th scale

I finished this two year off and on project last night. I used a resin DD 12V-71 and resin wheels. The tower is made from 1" Sch-40 PVC water pipe left over from when I relaid my house's water line. The tower would raise but I mounted the telescoping cable so it doesn't without breaking the line...

    Ax Men 2010-2011 season

Personally, I think the show went downhill after season 1. I would be more interested in just the logging on the west coast and Alaska and Canada. The rest of it I could do without, including the stupid drama. At least in the first season what was shown was more realistic, instead of something...
