You don't need to be mad scientist/rocket builder when you have one of those generators. The Ford dealer in {Ellensburg WA my old town}-back in the 50's had one of those blow the roof and
part of the wall out of the shop on a Friday night late. One of the old Ford mechanics told me about that one .

Those things only have two ingredients that are still readily available and then a filter and regulator.

Blame the dog...
Kinda like the circular blame game ;) How'd we get back to blaming the poor pooch again anyways??? Reminds me of a little kerfuffle we had back in the placer mine operating in the snoqualamie foothills a couple decades back... We had this cook that was 1/1024th purebred shoshnie indian with a little blackfoot in him and he would cook stuff up that you couldn't even pronounce the names of he had learned from his great, great grand mother on his dads side of the cousins tribe in Wenachee...

Well the chief as we liked to call him was cooking up dinner one day and the guys were riding in from a hard day of work out in the hills digging for placer gold and some of the guys were wondering where his dog was cause they hadn't seen him doing his usual scavenging around the chuck wagon when they rode up to camp... anyways one of the guys walked up to him and asked where Lassie was... and the chief just flat out told him Lassie was too old to do his job anymore so he made dinner out of him so his doggy spirit could help us one last time!!! Well... Benny thought that was just awful and started yelling at the chief and hitting him:eek: next thing you know the chief has Benny in a headlock with one arm behind his back holding a rather large skinning knife to his forehead and screaming some apache war chant things!!! I though for sure Benny was about 1 second away from being scalped!!! and all of the sudden the chief's grandson came running up and said something like KIMOSABI UNNGOWA and right then in that instant the chief dropped the knife and went back to serving up poor ole Lassie.... Wierdest thing I ever witnessed I tell ya'.

But now it's a new year so do we have to reset the counter and start back at one again?

Shouldn't you still be in bed? Even though you celebrated new years a hour early, I would have thought you'd still be recovering from your revelry.

I've heard retirement is nothing but one long party party party..... so I figured you'd been out all night cutting a rug with the missus.

I think we can easily handle a restart on the counter. We need another good push like the ebike question which we most certainly solved every conceivable aspect of.

Ahhhhh yes.... the infamous e-bike inquiry :)

There has been so much ebikery done by so many that don't have a clue as to what they are doing that nobody really knows where to look for decent information regarding ebike power supplies or even ebike battery packs for that matter...

So I started doing some ebike goooglfuery and found that most of the batteries that commercial ebike manufacturers use come from a little known country in the middle of southeast lower asia near the 43rd parallel... I also came to the conclusion that this is because of the califirnia proposition 65 laws and their included loopholes put there by certain politicians that own factories in that region:eek: no surprise there eh'

The good news is you can still buy most every component direct through the internet via ebay, amzn,or even direct if you search for them ;) and at prices that will allow you to buy several for the cost of what buying just one here local would have cost!!!

15' tall tumbleweeds closed Washington highways? What the H E double toothpicks is going on out there? Between rampaging nature and all the UFO sightings, I'm not sure about leaving the house.

That was on 240 between Richland and Vernita where you guessed it Hanford is, where five foot tall jack rabbits and 18' rattle snakes live. That's happened before out there during windy situations.
