Nope, only paid him $300 to move it 17 miles. I told him when he come to look at it before the move that it was 26k lbs or more, he said "not a problem". I warned him when he showed up in that rig that there is no way that's going to work, he argued he's been doing this for 30 years and his deere 410 backhoe he brought to help load it weighed more, went to deeres website and showed him that his machine was less than 16k lbs. He again said there is no way our 780 weighed that much, I showed him the gvw tags at 26,000 lbs he again argued, I said let me just give you $50 for the trouble and I'll find someone else. He again argued he's done this 30 years and knows better.
Finally I gave up and said " okay, I'll be waiting on the other end with your $300 if you make it"
Drug the machine onto our scale this morning out of curiosity. 29,813lbs. I didn't notice it before but all the steel on the back and top of the bucket isn't factory, they welded it there for weight.
Safe to say the haul rig is likely toast.
