We are building a base for a silage pile, ~200x600. Fly-ash is being brought in as the stabilization agent.
We do not have a mixing machine like most outfits seem to have when they do these jobs. Our idea was to grade the pad, adjust the gps for a higher elevation, grade the material, and run a disk over the material, followed by the water of course, re-grade, smoothe drum roller, and done.
Anyone see any issues as to why this wouldn't work?
Thanks in advance.
