Skytrack 8042 won't go into forward gear but will go into reverse

We have been using the telehandler to finish off our new building's siding. Sometimes forward gear works and other times it won't go into forward gear. We changed the hydraulic filters already and checked the mechanical lines for any damage. Any ideas!

It may be your shift lever or linkage.

I'm not very knowledgable with Sky Traks, but looking at the manuals I see that there are three different transmissions depending on the vintage: pre-Legacy manual shift, pre-Legacy electric shift, and Legacy. If you want more specific info people will need to know which one you have. ISZ

It is Pre-Legacy manual shift not electric shift.
