I could have used that bucket last week,I got into sand stone while installng a geothermal system.I would say that rock bucket would help on jobs where you dont have to go to deep into the rock.I can get through the fist 6 inches or so,after that the rock gets solid and you need a "ho-ram".The rock bucket would help get through the top layer faster.Rock problem varies depending what part of the world your in.

Ive seen these advertized before. What an awesome concept. I wish we would have had one for our 5110 2 weeks ago! Looks like the capasity would be reduced a bit, but has got to be cheaper than running the D9 ripping and shoving up some loose muck for the hoe to dig. 14 hours of ripping and dozing gets ate up in 6 hours! Makes you want to look for something cheaper!

yes i know what you mean, we were digging slag out of a pond very hard digging i was on a 385 and we also had a 375 digging also, we would dig it out of the water and pile it so it could drain and then the 992 and the 777's would come over an gobble it up sometimes before noon:Banghead
