The first 2 EH 1700-3s went into Ontario in 2007. Do you know what is different with the dash 5s? Tier 4 Im guessing? Looks like a Miller quarry.. Thanks for posting
Not that it matters, but they are actually a 70 ton truck. I really like that they have finally recognized that the inside of the cab should be nice to spend time in, not just a tin box. Here's hoping the -5s are a bit more reliable than their predecessors.
Surprisingly it is not tier four! It has a 790 horsepower cummins in it. Anything over certain horsepower doesn't have to be tier four yet. The product support rep told me it is only meeting tier two requirements. It is at Millers!
