That "Benati" excavator in post 42 is unusual in that the dipper can mount in different length configurations. Cool old machine. I like the chain excavator also.

The pictures were taken in a sandy hill country, there are several quarries of inert, the most interesting machines were just terrestrial dredge Torreggiani chain and benati crawler excavator, which I believe are historical machines being extinctions like the dinosaurs there were also mechanical wheel loaders and mf massey ferguson and a caterpillar track loader 955, a shovel loader international pay a big excavator Laltesi a dumper astra but the most interesting for their historical chronology think are the benati imola and Torreggiani bologna, I am wrong? would you have photos or biographical material of other diggers chain in buckets, are fond of these mechanical devices in the chain drive gear racks, I would be truly grateful thanks to the next working trip

old track loader Fiat fl 4 crawler "tubular" is one of the first models of the completely mechanical fiat, this is a very rare model do you think of the tube? the first models in fact had the bucket arms in steel tubes later in later models were built in shaped sheet steel
