i just purchased a 2006 linkbelt 290lx and have some questions and concerns, for 1 it seems to be lacking power especially on the crowd arm, when you bring arm to the all the way extend or all the way in it almost wants to kill the engine. when you run the funtional test on the display hydraulic psi reads 5500 psi on both sides of the pump. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Cummins or Isuzu engine? Any fault codes?

Check the common things first, air filters, fuel filters, ect. Make sure you have at least 10psi at the fuel primer pump.
After all that checks out ok, may have a pump regulator issue.
