i have a komatsu pc 78 that seems to have a bad seal on the track tensioner because the track is constantly loosening. i was wondering how big of a deal it is to change the seals? is it something you can do pretty easy or should i send it out? the tracks are just rubber not the road liners so its easy to get them off and the idler wheel assembly is easy enough to get out its just after that point where im not sure if it will become hard to do or not.
thanks for the input. Eric

Eric,

That is a very simple job, just a couple seals really. Just make sure you put the seals in the right direction thats all. Godd luck.
