H all,
I have been helping on a cattle station driving a Cat D7-G clearing mesquite and we did a little chain pulling with that and a Cat D6-B. The D6 had a clutch problem but with help from previous threads on the forum I got that adjusted and operating well.
They have just purchased a Komatsu D65A-8 to to take over from the D6. Its been 10 years since I have a D65 in front of me. It has 12000 hrs and have been told it has has some engine work done, generally visual condition is really good.
I have searched and found a thread with info on the fuel system, tank set up etc to check on. If anyone has any tips on common problem things to check for on the D65 it would be most appreciated.
