Komatsu 320-3 Questions

I recently bought a Komatsu WA320-3MC loader and the float postion for the boom does not seem to work. you can get it to float for maybee a second and then it pushes the boom down, and the detent does not hold. From reading the manual it should also have a detent to boom up and kick out where you set the stop (like the bucket roll back does) but when you pull the lever back it does not detent. Could someone have turned these off or do they need adjustment?
The other problem is the machine has a very slight viberation at higher revs. It does it weather you are in gear, moving, or in neautral and reving it to move the bucket faster. Almost feels like something is out of balance. Any ideas on where to start on this one?

Don't know about the float adjustment, but you could isolate that vibration by taking the drive shaft out between trans and engine. Rev it up then and you could tell if it's in the engine or not.

is air filter restricting the engine to rev? how are the fuel filters as well? check engine and transmission mounts for the viberation issue, front damper cant remeber if that has the viscous damper or solid, hold it wide open and feel pumps? do they viberate a lot? front bearing on pumps gone? ..as for dentents..do the controls have a lot of play? check all pressures! pressures dont lie! does that unit still have the prox switches or have tehy been smashed, by-passed, shorted, or hacked?
