Thinking about getting a JD 444 WHEEL Loader. Had two Hough--H 60 , but didn't like the straight frame. Had a Case W 7 and the Case W 14 , but didn't really like the Cases either.

Just want to load a dozen 10 yard loads per year and maybe shove a little snow around. Have JD 4X4 backhoe and like it.

What are the thoughts on a JD 444 loader??????

Which one?

444 will be a big improvement against what you had. 544 probably is easier to find one...

thanks Jim D Do you know what years the JD 444 were made. I don't know if there is another letter or if it is just a straight 444. The guy that has it bought it another big load of machinery at a sale and doesn't know much about it. It just shows the number on the side as-----JD 444.........................
