Googled "660B caterpillar" and HEF came up pretty high on the results. Clicked the link and became very intrigued when i saw a bunch of pictures of A.C.I. machines which had our rebuilds in them! Started looking through the threads and knew we wanted to become a part of this great forum.

How the hell did I get here!?

Hello.

You see officer,,,,. :D

Actually I was looking up FACE reports.
I was on a dozer when an end dump driver ran over a grademan.
It took me a while to get back on the horse, I was really out of it for a while, I am still in fear of operating an end dump but can now deal with a tandem.
The dozer I have no trouble with, just end dump.
But, be that as it may, I am here and hope to make the most of it, to both learn as well as for the the fellowship.

Thank you.

Rudolph J.R. Wratten.

I found the site on a Koehring search I did on Google.

G'day all, I am new to the forum, having found it after a google search.
I live on acreage and have had an International B275 with loader and back blade for a few years now. Good machine but a little on the small side.

When I saw a Case 580k in the local paper last week, I checked it out and purchased it for $5000 AU.
It's been sitting for 5 years or so, very mistreated, bit of a basket case visually but I reckon it has potential.

Repairs required immediately are:
-RH kingpin
-hoses (5 or 6)
-radiator (flush or recore)
-leaking cylinders (lift, bucket, stabilizer, extendahoe)
-wiring

Enough to keep me busy and hopefully getting some help from the experts here.

Doosan search on google, also comes up with a lot of image results if you search a broad term, like 'backhoe' or 'loader'. I have been snooping around the site for a while.

I live in Kwa Zulu Natal, a coastal province of South Africa, and I love earthmoving and forestry equipment.

Can't wait to get started.

I do all my own repairs and have been looking for two years for a site that I could post equipment problems on and maybe see a different angle to the problem. I found this site through www.ask.com
