Do you have multiple units that get left on site and then picked up? I'm trying to figure this one out.

I'm thinking they just use the truck for other things on days that are not trash day. It could pick up dumpsters or have a dump bed on it the other days of the week.

True, the goal is the optimization of the use of vehicles.
mainly in municipalities where many vehicles are parked for long periods because they are dedicated to particular tasks.
