Great pictures from the Truck Show, i sure would have loved to be there!
Could any of you tell how many cubic meters the load on the H 17 amounts to? What is the average length of the logs and max. length?
Thanks. Sigurd

Just had a question about Saunders and sons trucks. What is left of their old fleet. Supposedly they had the largest single purchase of trucks from hays.

Sigurd I checked with one of the guys that are pretty good with judging load sizes and he told me it was more like 130 Meters Most of the logs were 12.5's and the longer ones on top were 16.6's Maybe 075 could jump in and add some ideas

Nice load no holes, a good mix of larger logs and smaller ones, The long ones on top add alot of wood .I would say 125 to 135 would be a good guess. Its really hard to say how heavy it is untill you hear the truck driver scream when he breaks over the first hill lol

Gotta go over and see what her future holds in store. Will try and see what we can find out Cant believe the damage to the front bumper That was done after she left M&B Somebody pushing something I guess

HDX; thank you and great info as usual. She looked in pretty good shape but I think she needs a bit of work before she will be back. A few pics of H17 when I met you near Sarita a week after the great great Hayes annivversary show. I really like pic #1 with all the dust; all most making a bowl around her.

Hayes HDX WFP #2225(old MB unit) being loaded east of Alice Lake and Victoria Lake, meeting her loaded a bit later at West Main when she was heading to Port McNeill. "075" are you loading her? I was looking for a campsite and I found one nice spot on east side of Victoria Lake. No people at all and good fishing:)
