I am working on a "dead" Gradall 534 d-6. The boom is all the way out horizontally. How can I get it retracted to get it hauled back to shop?

You would have to remove the lock valve at the base of the cylinder and push it in with a forklift or other piece of equipment. Make sure once its back inside the main boom that you chain it in place so it doesn't slide out on the haul truck drive.
