Hello All,
I want to test the oil pressure on the power steering pump.
Can I hook the gauge directly to the pump outlet and run the pump for a few seconds for a read? Or do I need to tee the gauge into the outlet line, and run the pump, and monitor the gauge as I turn the steering wheel?
I assume I should do the test with hot fluid??
I have intermittent power steering now, that seems to get a tiny bit better when I rev the engine a little.
Are these pumps rebuildable??
THANKS All !!!!!
