Engine swap a Chinese mini excavator?

Has anyone seen this done?

I have the opportunity to buy an excavator with a bad single cylinder diesel, I have a kubota d722 sitting in the shed - what’s involved in swapping them? I understand the bigger mini excavator comes with this same Kubota engine

might not be a lot of chinese mini experience on here. You'd have to look, but a cheap mini is probably just one hydraulic pump, so a lot easier than others. Another possibility might be new parts for the existing engine from alibaba.
