Hey Dozer 13

Welcome

Interesting way to check out the undercarriage. I bet there are some good stories behind the ones turned turtle.

It's obvious that one or two of the machines don't like the southern hemisphere - they're the right way up for the northern hemisphere!

Ok fella's i knew some of you would be curious about what caused what and where so ill give you a run down

Squizzy, most of the pics are from NSW but im in ACT these days.

The D7G completly on its roof was lost off a lowloader and had to be pulled onto its lid because the river was on the other side of that road, once they pulled it over on to its roof i believe the other 7G pushed some dirt up against it and they pulled it on to its side then back on to its tracks.
I was'nt actually involved, i just got the photo's and the story,it was at Griffith NSW.

The same goes for the D6H with the tree over it, i was'nt involved but i got the pics and story. The operator basically dug around the tree untill it fell over on him,i think he expected it to be more of a challenge than it was:confused: That was at Cobargo ,far sth coast NSW.

I must say the D7G on its side in the forest with the logging winch was my doing:eek:,thats when i was a lot younger and gamer and thought they would go anywhere. I was clearing around trees to make it easier on the log faller, went to reverse and it cocked its topside rear up as they normally do but this time it was'nt comin back down!it seemed to happen in slow motion when it was about to tip but holy hell did it go when it went over, i was lucky the blade snagged that tree otherwise it may have been interesting. That was also near Cobargo NSW.

Aardvark, there were quite a few big tree's like that one that had to go, i was clearing for 20kms of new powerline down near Batemans Bay, south coast NSW.

Thanks for the interest and the replys fella's, i'll put some more up in the near future.
