Hey guys, I've seen a few 308E excavators around so I wanted to give a heads up to owner/operators of a potentially dangerous or costly machine malfunction. I was called out to fix the boom swing on a customers machine after they had an incident with the boom swinging into a house without being activated. The customer said it swung on it's own a few more times before I got to it. The machine only had 300 hrs on it. The left thumb wheel wire was chafed inside the console frame where it was zip-tied against the metal.20170913_134959[1].jpg
