how much would it cost for CAT to tear this machine down for shipment? remove bucket, wheels, cab rop, top of cab, hand railings, exhaust pipes, and rearend housings from machine?

You should call the closest dealer and ask for a quote. Maybe someone could give you and estimate of the amount of time it would takes and any supplies that might be needed. Blocking, caps and plugs, containers for parts and so on.

Also what I suggest having moved more than a few 992G Loaders over the years is to find out what is the largest single piece you can move and then work the disassembly around that. The top half of the cab comes off leaving the seat and controls, wheels are easy as are things like exhausts and air precleaners if it has them. There really isn't much else.

Can I ask why you want a dealer to do this..? It's not like any of what say you want to do in your OP is in any way technically difficult - until you start pulling things like bucket and linkage pins that is when all of a sardine it gets extremely complicated very rapidly...........

Why are the bucket pins difficult; is it the bc of weight of the parts?

Not at all. The 992G pins were always a source of problems because they were oil-filled and the seals used to fail. After many false starts Cat finally came up with a cartridge-like pin that has to be pressed in and out using all sorts of special drivers and a 150-ton cylinder IIRC. Most average mechanics don't have that sort of tooling available to them.
