I have a 246C skid that when using skid unloaded it works fine. If you load the bucket to dump it goes only half way up. Any help would be great.

The emergency boom lower knob isn't partially up?
How many hours on machine?
You say only goes halfway up.
Does the machine struggle to raise higher?
If left in the raised position, does it drift downward?
If empty, will it raise the boom completely?
If handle is held in up position with boom fully up, can you hear difference in pump sound, versus just left up?
Can you lift front if machine with bucket?
Will it stay when doing so?

it struggles to lift it higher. i will check the boom lowering knob today.I will test the other things today
