I have a 1845C that has a little over 2000 hours on it, I replaced the hydro oil and filter about 15 hours ago. My problem is that the machine is a little on the jerky side when you go forward/reverse, turn etc, I don't hear the chains slapping around, so what could be the problem? Could the chains actually need adjusting? Thanks

Yes, they can - need adjusting. First place to look. Can damage sprocket teeth if left loose.
