    How difficult to move excavator?

That is a thought, I have aux hydraulic quick connects on the back of the 450B that I could use. Also, if you part yours out I might be better of getting parts from you!

    How difficult to move excavator?

I'll be checking that out also. The other reason for this question is that I have a 690B in a pasture 200 yards from a gravel road, the hydraulics work and the tracks have the sprockets and chains off so they freewheel. I would like to get it to the road myself but just using the bucket is slow...

    How difficult to move excavator?

I am having it hauled but I have the 450B I could use if it would work instead of hiring a wrecker or paying for another excavator hauled in to load it. He said the hydraulics worked before but now don't, it has just been sitting so not sure if fluid leaked down or what happened. Haven't gone to...

    How difficult to move excavator?

I'm looking at a parts machine, an old Deere 690A with the main engine running and tracks freewheeling. Drive motors/pump bad. With the bucket off of the ground would a Case 450B crawler loader be able to move it and would it be able to load it on a trailer? I can't justify the cost of hiring a...

    Caterpillar 215 excavator opinions?

Thanks, I have a commercial crimper, same one used by many hose shops and it uses the same hose that was the best when that machine was made. 4 wire hose is available now which takes a different crimper but that hose wasn't available when that machine was made. I run it on my dozers and front...

    Caterpillar 215 excavator opinions?

Thanks! I hadn't thought of that, I plan on replacing the leaking hoses right away, I have a hose crimper and can make them way cheaper than buying them.

    Caterpillar 215 excavator opinions?

Good, bad and ugly thoughts? Looking at buying one running and driving good, biggest problem is leaking hydraulic hoses Main use would be on farm digging ponds and pulling stumps.

    Track master pin question

I need to break the right track on my Case 1150 (straight 1150 no letter) and when I looked for the master pin they all look the same. My D7 has a center punch on the master pin but all of these seem to have a center punch? Any help determining which pin to remove? Thanks

74 case 350 crawler loader resortation

The fan on my D7 is a "pusher" fan that pushes air forward thru the radiator to keep it from pulling all the dirt and dust into the radiator fins. haven't checked my Case loader to see if it pushes or pulls.....

74 case 350 crawler loader resortation

74 case 350 crawler loader resortation

My JD755 loader doesn't use steering brakes and clutches but a loose track on one side definitely makes it pull to the side.

74 case 350 crawler loader resortation

there is a glass based sealer for blocks and head gaskets that works great, can't think of the name but I used it on my D7 to seal a head gasket leak a couple years ago and it hasn't leaked since. Friends of mine with heavy equipment swear by it, got it at auto parts store. Be sure to follow...
