Looking to buy a dump truck need some help.

Thats exactly what I did. Swans LPG with 100,000 miles and GVW 23,900. It weighs just under 11,000 empty with full tank LPG. Had to raise the front of the bed since it came off a standard size pickup.

Need help with purchasing right trailer to carry a JD 110 backhoe behind a Chevy 2500

No trouble. That was just the first one I pulled up. I know nothing about it other than whats in the add. I did go and look at a couple more today and found one that has a 3,000/30,000 rating. It even has two holes. IE:for a bike carrier and a trailer if needed...

Need help with purchasing right trailer to carry a JD 110 backhoe behind a Chevy 2500

Class V hitch here is rated at 20,000 and 2,700 tongue weight and just bolts on. http://www.etrailer.com/hitch-2013_Ford_F-250+and+F-350+Super+Duty.htm

Need help with purchasing right trailer to carry a JD 110 backhoe behind a Chevy 2500

If the 110 weighs 8000 and your trailer weighs say 3500 and you put 2000 lbs on the hitch your only at 9500 on the trailer axles. So the way I see it a 12000 lb trailer would be 2500 under GVR.

Ratchet binders that you can permanently attach a chain to?

Id be careful using one side of a hammer link. They get there strength by not having much clearance around the pin. If you use just one side and chain to the pin it wouldn't have to shear the pin. It would likely just bend it. IMO

    is it to heavy

Thats something to think about. I was under the impression if factory sticker wasn't present they went by minimum numbers for the particular size truck. Something like a chain without markings. Sorry for hijacking. Thats my last post, promise.

    is it to heavy

I wish my GCW wasn't listed. Legal weight isn't much higher with a trailer. Since its on my door tag I can't haul any weight in my truck while pulling my trailer and excavator.

    Rigging sling questions.

After looking and looking I did find some blue dyed markings that read US Line Multi-Loop 60FT 68F217-30 1/82 2782F Not sure what much of that means? Its .15 thick measured with calipers.

I have this sling and wanting to sell it but don't know what its worth or how to explain what is is. Im wanting to find out whats the capacity and is it called an endless 4 ply sling or would it be considered an 8 ply? Its got a string in the center that i think is to tell if it has been...
