    Bobcat 442 lower drive/sun gear stripped.

    Bobcat 442 is the same as a Terex TC75 they use Rexroth final drives but individual internal parts are usually not available I tried once with no luck .

    Dresser TD7 H what to look for during purchase?

    I think the problem is a simple brake adjustment , the one side is too tight , the adjustment is on the side of the final drive near the track and after making the adjustment and before tightening the big locknut set the parking on hard to prevent loosing the adjustment .

    Curiosity on machines

    A dozer would better for foundations & roads, the loader is better for pushing trees because you can push higher up on the tree and then pick it up and move it with the 4 in 1. as far as the grousers go I would weld a bar or two on each pad.

    Grease fitting won't take grease

    This sometimes works , first get a regular high pressure (10,000lb) grease gun with a rubber hose with a good coupling and pump as hard as you can and while the grease fitting is still under high pressure hit the pin with a hammer and it will usually break free.

    Slope measurement ? I think some of you are confusing measurement of slopes like percent and degrees , slope meters normally measure in percent up to 50 percent or 26.56 degrees . a 2 to 1 slope is the same as a 50 percent slope ( 26.56 degrees ) 45 degrees is 100 percent and it not possible...
